On a smartphone or tablet:
- Search for RingCentral in the App or Play store
- Download the app, it is free, but you do not need to create an account if you do not want to.
- Once the app is installed, you will need to allow your device to utilize video and audio through the RingCentral Meeting App
- Once the app is installed you are all set to utilize the link/meeting ID above to join at your appointment time
On a laptop or desktop computer:
- Click on the link in this email
- You will be prompted to “Open RingCentral Meetings Launcher”
- Select option to Open RingCentral Meetings Launcher
- A download should automatically start to install RingCentral Meetings
- Click on the download
- Select “run” – your meeting will then launch automatically
- Close the meeting if you are doing this prior to your appointment time
- At your appointment time simply click on the link provided and you will be connected automatically
On a smartphone or tablet:
- Select the link from your email to automatically navigate to “Join a Meeting” in the RingCentral App
- You may also open the Ring Central App, select “Join a Meeting” and input the meeting ID listed above
- Ensure both “join options” are NOT selected
- Click Join
On a laptop or desktop computer:
- Click on the link from the email you received
- You will be prompted to “Open RingCentral Meetings Launcher”
- Your meeting should automatically start
- Please make sure you have enabled your audio and video
Most modern computers and devices are compatible with Telehealth technology, but we have outlined specific information below:
- If you are using an Apple iPhone or iPad you will need an iPhone5s or newer. Make sure your operating system is updated to version 11 or later
- If you are using an Android, update your device to Version 8 or later
- If you are joining from a computer you can use Google Chrome, Firefox or Safari – please note that Internet Explorer and Microsoft Edge are not supported
- You must have a wifi connection
- Your device needs to have a camera
- You will need a microphone or headphones with a microphone
In most cases, your teletherapy benefits are the same as your benefits for a regular PT office visit. You will be billed in the same manner as you would be for an in person office visit. Our front office team will be verifying these benefits and discussing them with you prior to your teletherapy visit.
At this time, Medicare is NOT covering Teletherapy visits, we will update you if/when this changes.
You can expect to receive the same high quality care from our team at Panorama Physical Therapy as you would if you were receiving treatment in person. If this is your first evaluation, you can expect 45 minutes to 1 hour with your therapist. If this is a follow up, you can expect 30 to 45 minutes with the PT
Your physical therapist will utilize electronic home exercise programs to email you pictures of any exercises you discuss during your session. They will update these as appropriate each session.
Our physical therapists are very creative! You can expect them to utilize items you have at home to ensure you are able to complete the exercises needed for your care. They may even ask you to show them how you do specific activities around your home!
